It's dark in the island....

Y'all know I live HUNT SHOWDOWN, truly, I do. So, around may I thought about making a fan art of it! Later on, as usual, an overambitious urge grew on me.... and the idea turned into developing a whole compound with it's concept and level design. Maybe the guy who said I was overambitious wasn't wrong, after all...

Hey so, you want a piece of lore of this place? Well let me tell you.Back in the old days, Nantucket was the main hub for whaling in the world, and, as usual, we Spanish came late to the party. The Marquis of Branciforte invested a significant amount in developing the whaling industry in the Canary Islands, buying the land and ordering the construction of a facility, turning a deaf ear to the locals who warned him about an ancient native cult to the sun in the Guiniguada ravine. Superstition and the beliefs of an ancient race, long defeated and absorbed by the Spanish Crown, wouldn't stop profit and progress, or so he thought... Soon, strange events began to occur around the facilities, with inexplicable screams and people dying. Paranoia and rage drove the Marquis mad, ordering the burning alive of the locals who lived around the area and worked for him. Little did he know about the subterranean volcanic caverns that, even 400 years later, were still inhabited by ancient aboriginal magic and perhaps, the creature who's screams still haunts the few people that managed to escape.

Now that this "corruption" has been unleashed, hunters from Africa, America, and Europe have drawn attention to these tiny Atlantic islands, some seeking riches and glory, others looking for something else...
