Southern Thunder - 1833 Portul Luminii Sharpshooter

Had an idea for an extremelly long sniper rifle. Dishonored shapes merged with Hunt Showdown vibes. Detachable design and flintlock mechanism.

Started this project back in August after a long trip, it's been rough since then but now I start to see things more clearly. I still feel like these are trying to be extravagant and overambitious for the sake of it, I'm gonna make this flaw a strenght.

One more to come from this series most likely, a rarest one, hope you enjoying so far.

About the lore: The Portul Luminii Sharpshooter is an old glory from the days when the empire has no competitors,
before the rise of the Bristanogul in the north and east. Due to the hardships or a mountain type
environment, this long flintlock rifle was designed in a modular fashion, facilitating the movement. all it's parts can be separated easily
to facilitate transport.
this sharpshooter was designed to be used at incredible distances, normally hidding away in the safety
of the heights. the barrell can be as long as a man is tall sometimes, making it dificult to use. This flintlock mechanism
design was replaced later with more modern solutions, bolt action rifles. Not because lack of sucess but because to
properly use it the marksman needed to be both an excelent shooter and a true mountainman.

Even when war pushed the advancements of technology there's still a few skilled enough people in the empire able to draw
this marble, making Mica Insula a death trap for those who try to raid their towns through the ravines and mountain forests.

An ancient song inside
A journey far and wide
A womb that brings rebirth
On this unripe side of earth
A hallowed path to tread
To where my spirit's led

Here, we come to pray
Thus I have heard, here the inner world rings
In memory of what will be
And on this day
The veil is lifted from the face of a bright inner Sun.
